Products
We have managed our products upstream for several years, that is to say right from the parcel. Thus, the cellar has set up a " Terroir " commission, composed of administrative managers, whose objective is to define our production policy. In order to apply this policy - a set of specifications - we have recruited a technician. Her task consists in recording each parcel in a given selection, generally after one or several visits a year on our members' parcels.
Marketing The most part of our production volumes are sold in bulk (more than 90%). These wines are essentially entry-level products, appellation or table wines. Medium range wines with a good added value can be sold in bulk. We then wish to stimulate our bottle line, essentially intended for our private customers, as well as for restaurants and cellars, most of them located in Paris and its surroundings. Since 1985, when we created the agricultural co-operative " TERROIRS d'OCCITANIE ", our cellar has been present on the export market, mainly in Europe but also in Japan and the United-States, where we have several customers. This structure does not exist any longer today, so we intend to develop our activity from the Estate. Our bottle line is available under the brand name ORFEE Cellar. We essentially propose AOC wines, one AOC white wine, one AOC Rosé wine and red wines. Our line benefits from our renowned " Sextant Cuvée ". It was created in 1993 and has been our Prestige Cuvée for ten years. It is regularly awarded in national and international competitions and praised in guides and technical journals. |
