The selection
For several years now, product management has been run top-down.
A selection of parcels is made every year: in order
to have a real segmentation of the offer, it is imperative
for us to have an equivalent segmentation in the production.
The œnologist Christophe Groppi is
in charge of the production and follow-up of the wines, assisted
by Jérome Hourdel from the ICV (Institut Coopératif
du Vin) and by Alain Cros for the blending of the different
vintages. For very many years he has produced the wine for
all the vintages and thanks to this team work, has raised
the wines of our cellar to the highest rank, twice winning
the title for the great wines of France over all categories
of appellation, in 1985 and 1995, numerous gold
medals and many other highly-praised awards.

Marketing
The majority of our production is sold in bulk. These
wines are, for the most part, low-end, either in appellation or
in vin de pays. We can also make markets in
middle-range wines.
In parallel we are developing higher-range markets, wine
which is bottled on the domain for specific clients but which
we do not include in our product range.
Finally, we are developing
a bottled range destined mainly for our special clients but
also for restaurants and wine merchants all over France.
Our cellar is present in the export markets.
Our bottled range is sold under the brand Cellier
d’Orfée.
We are mainly present in the wines of the AOC Corbières, of which we have a white, a rosé and several
reds.
This range benefits from the renown of our flagship product, "Cuvée
Sextant”, which was first created in 1993 and which has
been our top vintage for ten years. It’s regularly
in the forefront, with awards obtained in national and international
competitions and is equally famous in the specialist guides
and reviews.
The B de Boutenac, AOC Corbières, is the newest of our
range. |
