Carbonic maceration, 15 days.
After fermentation, one-third of the wine is aged in new oak barrels and two-thirds in one season-old barrels.
Tasting notes
Appearance: brilliant purple colour with cherry tints.
Bouquet: initially oaky and strongly vanilla, evolves to a complex nose of earth and ripe black fruits with notes of spice and dried herbs.
Palate: full and generous palate with a fine structure going to a long and superbly balanced, spicy finish.
