Appearance: deep, consistent, brilliant red with violet tints.
Bouquet: intense, many-layered nose, with powerful burnt aromas followed by equally powerful ripe fruit and toasty notes. Ends on a more spicy note, still with ripe fruits. Long finish on the nose.
Palate: generous, powerful front of palate, rich and finely balanced. A full mid-palate with perceptible but silky tannins and complex aromas.
