Aged in one season-old oak barrels for 8-12 months.
Tasting notes
Appearance: elegant ruby with red, slightly orange tints.
Bouquet: many-layered, powerful nose primarily of wood and liquorice, evolving to stewed, slightly jammy fruit and spices and ending with kirsch and Mediterranean herbs.
Palate: powerful, tannic and generous front of palate. Excellent balance with a warm, spicy finish.
